"Nathan Burton's Comedy Magic" at Flamingo

Nathans Burton comedy presented by What's On

If you know anything about magicians, you know they can be cheesy. And Las Vegas has more cheesy magicians in its showrooms per capita than anyplace else in the world. Nathan Burton is one of them, for sure.

But at least this magician doesn’t take himself seriously and he does seem to relish making cheese—i.e., the “Microwave of Death.” Burton is probably best known for silly stunts, like entombing himself in a block of ice with several showgirls for 24 hours (which had to be called off after a few hours because the block was melting).

Now is this really magic? You’ll see footage of some of these shenanigans before his show begins. Although goofy, once Burton takes the stage, he is rather entertaining. He has several beautiful assistants/dancers who create fantasy scenes, like a sexy slumber party where Burton disappears and reappears as a woman.

There’s also a funny trick with a giant turbo hair dryer that I won’t spoil for you. Plus, Burton does well with kids during audience interaction moments. All in all, “Nathan Burton’s Comedy Magic” clocks in at just about an hour…so it’s really too short to be a terrible experience.
